Get Involved About Squirrels
If you find an Injured Squirrel
If you find an injured squirrel it is critical to keep it as warm and quiet as possible.
Place the animal in a secure box or pet carrier (if you use a box make sure there are enough air holes)
Fleeces are very good insulation and may be used as bedding
A hot water bottle, wrapped in a towel or fleece to prevent the squirrel getting burnt, will help keep the animal warm
Place the box in a quiet, draught-free room
Contact Jan Ferguson 01369 870346 who will collect animal and take further action
